The Golden Globes were this past weekend and Ricky Gervais came out swinging. While he certain was offensive with what he was saying, he definitely took some much needed jabs at the culture. While the fallout has been extreme, it only proves the point that he was making.
Then, we share the news of the passing of Danny’s dog Izze. We talk about the story of coping, how we choose to focus on the joy and blessing during difficult times instead of getting bogged down in the depressing. Also, we talk about mourning with other people and how we sometimes our presence is more important than trying to fix the problem.
