Nobody Special 037: Would Jesus Ride a Donkey or a Falcon?
It’s been a busy few weeks since Caleb and Danny last recorded. For the most part, the boys of Nobody Special ignore most of it. Although, we do want to wish a congratulations on JD Greear on becoming the next President of the Southern Baptist Church. All this admits the fact that inviting Mike Pence to speak at the event turned it largely political.
Speaking of politics, Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un met this past week in an historic event towards peace. Naturally, everyone is upset by this. Makes sense right? We look at right, wrong, and objectivity while encouraging people to maintain their faith.
Finally, we look at the ludicrous statements made by Jesse Duplantis regarding buying a jet, that Jesus wouldn’t ride a donkey but ride in the lap of luxury, and that commercial airlines are filled with demons. Every bit of what he said to justify the $54 million dollar jet is just… wrong. The true Gospel rests in Jesus lowering Himself, becoming one of us, living with us, and dying for our sins. Not in having the most stuff. Also, Jesse Duplantis is apparently a huge Star Trek fan… picture related. Let us know when you see it…
