Nobody Special 118 | A Radically Moderate Stance on Race and Riots

Tension run high across the country as everyone looks to reform race relations and civil rights. Now, as Christians, we have the obligation to be the light of Christ in the world around us.

Caleb and Danny have an honest conversation about the recent current events involving George Floyd, the peaceful protests, as well as the looting. Are the issues being too conflated with one another? And how should the Christian represent the faith during this current civil crisis? We know this topic might be controversial, but it is precisely these moments that we must wade into the culture with grace, love, and kindness for those around us.

“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:1-6‬ ‭ESV)
