Positivity Youtubers seem to be overly cringe. But they also miss out on the joy of finding God in the sorrow. Join Danny and Caleb as we talk about “just be happy” and finding God in the middle of times that aren’t so positive and being with the family of God.
Many people have often said “Just think happy thoughts and it will make your life happy.” Yet, for many people this just doesn’t seem to work. On this episode, we respond to the common idea that positive Youtubers and social media accounts bring of just being positive and life will be better. Jesus promises difficult times when we choose to follow Him, but has also promised that He has already overcome the struggles and trials.
Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:31-33, ESV)
