Disney announces that Splash Mountain will be a ride based on the Princess and the Frog and people are upset even though Song of the South had some real racism issues. Also, we talk about tearing down statues across America.
The recent events of America politics have gotten everyone thinking about issues of race and protesting racism. All this mixed in with cancel culture and a society that refuses to think critically about issues creates real problems. On this episode Caleb and Danny talk about the relevant issues and how we can come together as the body of Christ in unity.
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV)
We could each side do with some grace filled critical thinking, where we encourage one another to stand on the foundation of truth. Our actions should guide our feelings which fuel our actions.
