Election Season kicks off with way to many Democratic candidates that it takes two nights to dangle free stuff in front of people and pander. Bernie Sanders offered to forgive all student debt with a complete disregard for all economic principles.
Danny and Caleb look at the notion of socialism and why it can be appealing to people. Especially to people with student loans. Yet, for all the false promises, we cannot give in to the ego feeding promises and burden others.
Yet, some would still say that socialism is supported by the teachings of Jesus Christ because it pays off debts. This, though, ignores that Jesus willfully took our burdens upon Himself and did not heap them on others.
