This title is so misleading. JD Greear, if you are listening to this podcast its not what it sounds like. Congrats on becoming the new President of the Southern Baptist Church. The boys of Nobody Special look at decoupling the SBC from the GOP. Furthermore, we look at the role of the politics and the church and how the two should interact with one another. Ideally, the church should be a welcoming place to all people no matter their political background or anything else.
Speaking of… the church Scum of The Earth in Denver, Colorado is worth talking about. They seem to be reaching out to the lost and broken and those who feel like they have no home. This church was truly surprising to research and check into. The church should be reaching the unreachable just as Christ reached us.
